Winners have been chosen!

Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort, along with Loon Lake Marina and Watersports, is giving away a stay on our Houseboat to the winners of our 2011 Summer Photo Contest! This self-contained houseboat sleeps four and features a full kitchen, slide and upper deck!

First prize – Two night stay – $390 value
(does not include gas and taxes)

Second prize – One night stay – $195 value
(does not include gas and taxes)

Help us celebrate the gorgeous scenery found at Loon Lake in the beautiful Oregon Coast Range. Be creative and send us your best photo(s) at the lake or surrounding areas, or of your family having a great time boating, camping, or just relaxing by the water.

To enter and be eligible to win this exciting houseboat overnight stay, please submit your photo(s) as outlined below:

(1) Attach a high resolution (300 DPI) copy of the photo(s) and email to loonlakelodge@gmail.com. In this email, state your name, phone number and when you visited Loon Lake Lodge. If you would like to also provide a short story (200 words max.) of your stay, we’ll publish some of these on our website.

(2) After emailing the photo(s) for entry, you may also post a lower resolution copy of the photo(s) to the Loon Lake Lodge Facebook fan page. If the photo(s) is boating-related, you can also post the photo(s) to the Loon Lake Marina and Watersports Facebook fan page.

(3) Your entry photo(s) can contain people, however, identifiable people in your photo(s) must be from your traveling party only, and all must have given you permission to submit their photo(s) to this contest.

(4) We reserve the right to delete any image from Facebook or our Website for any reason without notice. We also reserve the right to discard any photo(s) emailed as an entry for any reason without notice. The rules of this contest are subject to change without notice, and Loon Lake employees and their families are not allowed to enter the contest.

(5) There is a limit of five (5) photos per person entering the contest.

(6) With your submission of a photo(s) to the contest, you retain copyrights to the photo(s) but agree to release the photo(s) to Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort and Loon Lake Marina and Watersports for purposes of promotions, advertising, website and other print and electronic marketing uses. Photographer will be given credit when possible and no further compensation will be issued.

(7) Contest runs through September 15th. Submission of your photos confirms your understanding and acceptance of the rules as stated.

Once the entry period closes, professional photographer, Dan Pimentel and the staff of our advertising agency will select the winners.

Many entries will be posted in a gallery on our website and the winners will receive featured placement.

We will contact the winners via email no later than September 30.
